In the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft, the Buffalo Bills selected Singletary with the 74th overall pick. After LeSean McCoy was released as part of the final preseason cuts, he joined a backfield that included seasoned players Frank Gore, T. J. Yeldon, and LeSean McCoy, but rose to prominence with the Bills.
Singletary made his NFL debut for the Buffalo Bills on September 8, 2019. In the Bills’ 17-16 victory over the New York Jets, he ended the contest with 70 rushing yards on four rushes in addition to five receptions for another 28 yards.
One week later, in a 28-14 victory over the New York Giants, Singletary scored his first rushing touchdown in the NFL. Prior to leaving the game with a hamstring injury, he ended with 57 rushing yards on six carries.
Singletary had his breakthrough performance in Week 9’s 24-9 victory over the Washington Redskins, running for 95 yards on 20 runs with one touchdown and catching 45 yards on 3 grabs.
Thanksgiving Day in Week 13 against the Dallas Cowboys, Singletary gained 63 yards on 14 carries and 38 yards on three receptions, including a 28-yard touchdown catch from wide receiver John Brown, helping his team to a 26-15 victory.
Overall, he had 29 receptions for 194 receiving yards, two receiving touchdowns, and 151 carries for 775 rushing yards at the end of the 2019 season.
