KJ Hamler is a wide receiver for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League. He entered the NFL as the 46th overall pick in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft, selected by the Broncos.

Hamler was forced to sit out his freshman year at Penn State after tearing his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) the year before.
Hamler started his college career with a game-tying kickoff return of 52 yards against Appalachian State with less than two minutes remaining. He finished the game with three receptions for 67 yards and a touchdown, capping off the drive with a touchdown reception of 15 yards that came with less than a minute left to play.
Hamler was recognized as the Big Ten Freshman of the Week after his performance against Ohio State, in which he recorded four receptions for 138 yards and a touchdown that covered 93 yards.
Hamler had 13 receptions for 308 yards and four touchdowns through five games in his first year competing at the collegiate level.
