Did Raheem Blackshear get drafted?

Raheem Blackshear did not get drafted. The Buffalo Bills made the announcement several weeks ago that they had signed nine undrafted free agents in preparation for their rookie minicamp, which took place over the past weekends.

Running back Raheem Blackshear was one of the nine guys, and he had previous experience competing for both Rutgers and Virginia Tech.

Blackshear attended Rutgers for his first three years of college and during that time racked up 211 rushing attempts, 912 rushing yards, and six rushing touchdowns.



He also had 80 receptions, 367 receiving yards, and six receiving touchdowns during his time there. He also saw action on special teams and finished with 30 kickoff returns, averaging 17.8 yards per return over the course of his career.

After that, Blackshear would make the move to Virginia Tech and continue his college career with the Hokies for another two years.

He also recorded 43 receptions, 403 receiving yards, and one receiving touchdown in addition to his 199 rushing attempts, which resulted in 1,000 rushing yards and eight rushing touchdowns.

This last year was by far his strongest as a rusher, as he finished with 757 yards on the ground, averaging 5.7 yards per carrying, and scoring six rushing touchdowns.
