Dion Dawkins plays offensive tackle for the National Football League’s Buffalo Bills. In the United States, Rahway, New Jersey, is where he was born on April 26, 1994. He played football when a student at Rahway High School, earning the moniker “Shnowman.” After initially registering with the Cincinnati Bearcats, he changed his mind and chose to play for Temple University in January 2013.



From 2013 to 2016, he participated in collegiate football for the Temple Owls, starting 41 of his 44 games. After his senior year, he was selected for the First Team All-American Athletic Conference. He was chosen by the Buffalo Bills in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft. That season, he was selected as the second offensive guard.

On May 19, 2017, Dawkins and the Buffalo Bills reached an agreement on a four-year, $4.18 million contract, with a guaranteed $1.83 million and a $1.18 million signing bonus. In 11 of his 16 games, he started at left tackle. In 2017, Pro Football Focus gave him a 74.5 overall rating.

He grabbed a touchdown pass for the second time in 2019’s Week 16 of the regular season. Dawkins extended his deal with the Bills in August 2020 for a further four years and $60 million, with $34 million of that amount guaranteed. He was placed on the COVID-19 reserve list prior to the start of training camp in 2021 and required some time to get back in playing shape.
