Keaontay Ingram is currently a running back with the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League. Ingram went to Carthage High School in his hometown of Carthage, Texas, where he was raised.

At Texas and USC, he played collegiate football. There, he played basketball, track, and football. During his first season at Texas, he played in 13 games and started 2. He ran for 708 yards, scored three times, added 27 receptions for 170 yards, and scored two more times.

In Texas’ victory in the 2019 Sugar Bowl, he ran for 25 yards and added three catches for an additional 24 yards. As a sophomore, he took part in and started 13 games, rushing for 853 yards and six touchdowns.

He played for Texas for three seasons before moving to USC, where he finished his senior year with more than 1,000 yards rushing. He gained 156 yards through receptions, ran for 911 yards, and scored 5 touchdowns.

He played in ten games, seven of which he started. His season was cut short due to an injury to his ribs that necessitated surgery. The Arizona Cardinals selected Ingram as the 201st overall choice in the 2022 NFL Draft, selecting him in the sixth round.
