Dominic Manuel Nuez, an American baseball catcher in the Major League Baseball for the Colorado Rockies, was born in Elk Grove, California, on January 17, 1995. In the sixth round of the 2013 Major League Baseball draft, the Colorado Rockies were known to have selected him.
His early beginnings reveal that, had his High School education in Elk Grove High School in Elk Grove, California. He committed to be with college baseball at UCLA, however, he decided to come to terms with the Rockies instead of attending college. He was more passionate about baseball.
Dom Nunez began his professional career with the Colorado Rockies of Major League Baseball after being selected in the sixth round of the 2013 Major League Baseball draft. He was known to have been assigned to the Grand Junction Rockies after his signing after his first stint. He recorded a .200 batting average with three home runs as well as 23 RBIs in 55 games.
Nuñez also in the year 2015 played for the Ashville Tourist batting .282 with 13 home runs and 53 RBIs in several 104 games. He played with a lot of minor league teams since joining the Rockies until 2019.
On August 13, 2019, he was promoted to the major leagues and made his debut that night against the Arizona Diamondbacks. In the year 2020, he was made to be a backup catcher throughout the season.
