Domingo Acevedo is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher for the Oakland Athletics of Major League Baseball (MLB). Listed at 6 feet 7 inches (2.01 m) and 240 pounds (110 kg), he throws and bats right-handed.
A week after pitching for the World squad in the 2018 Futures Game, he was promoted to the major leagues for the first time on July 21st. He was only there for a day, but it was his first taste of the big leagues, and he’ll remember it for the rest of his life.
The game turned out to be a waste of his time, and he was demoted to the lower ranks. Until June of 2021, he had to wait for another opportunity to make his MLB debut. When he was released by the Yankees at the end of the 2020 season and signed with the Oakland Athletics, he was no longer a member of the team.
