For 1466 receiving yards and 21 touchdowns on 95 receptions across his two seasons at East Mississippi, he grabbed passes. Before going to Ole Miss to play football for the Ole Miss Rebels, he spent two years at East Mississippi. He finished third on the team with 13 receptions for 188 yards during his first season at Ole Miss.

With 25 receptions for 417 yards and seven touchdowns during his junior season, he assisted Ole Miss in winning the 2021 Outback Bowl. After opening the season against Louisville with a career-high 177 receiving yards, he went on to finish his senior year with 76 grabs for 1028 yards and 8 touchdowns. Drummond signed a contract with the Dallas Cowboys on May 3, 2022, as an undrafted free agent.
