Dorance Armstrong Jr. is a defensive end in American football. He plays for the Dallas Cowboys in the National Football League.
He was born on June 10, 1997. (NFL). He attended a college in Kansas and played football there. Armstrong was a defensive end while he was a student at North Shore Senior High School in Cloverleaf, Texas, where he received his education.
When he was a junior, he was selected to the All-District second team. As a graduating senior, he was named to the first team of All-district.
Additionally, he was a basketball player. It was announced on January 3, 2018, that he would skip his senior year in order to participate in the 2018 NFL Draft instead.
At the end of his career, he had 142 tackles and 15.5 sacks to his credit. Both his role in the defence and his production changed when he was a junior, and his production went in the opposite direction.
In the game against the University of Texas, he recorded a career-high 11 tackles, including three for losses, two sacks, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
During the 2018 National Football League Draft, the Dallas Cowboys picked up Armstrong in the fourth round. On November 5, he recorded the first sack of his professional career, a sack that he and Caraun Reid shared.
In 2019, he participated in 15 games but did not start any of them. In the year 2020, he recorded 33 tackles, including one for a loss.
In 2021, he extended his deal with the Cowboys by two years by signing a new contract.
