Dustin Thomas Garneau is an American professional baseball catcher who is now employed with the Detroit Tigers organization. He was born on August 13, 1987.
He has previous experience playing with the Colorado Rockies, the Oakland Athletics, the Chicago White Sox,
the Los Angeles Angels and the Houston Astros, all of whom are members of Major League Baseball.
In San Pedro, California, where San Pedro High School is located, Garneau received his secondary education.
He decided to pursue his passion for baseball at the collegiate level and enrolled at California State University, Fullerton with the intention of playing for the Cal State Fullerton Titans.
Garneau was drafted 19th overall by the Colorado Rockies in 2009. Garneau hit.250 in 23 games with the rookie-level Casper Ghosts.
