Dylan Bundy is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Minnesota Twins of Major League Baseball (MLB). He previously played in MLB for the Baltimore Orioles and Los Angeles Angels.

With a 3.29 ERA and 72 strikeouts in 65+2/3 innings, Bundy had a 6–3 record in 2020. For the Cy Young Award, he came in ninth place in the balloting.

Beginning with the 2021 season, Bundy will serve as the Angels’ starting pitcher. Bundy threw six innings and allowed three runs while striking out six batters and walking none in a 4-3 no-decision win over the Chicago White Sox.



Bundy passed out on the field due to heat exhaustion during a game against the New York Yankees on June 28, 2021. He had allowed two runs in 1+2/3 innings of work.

He was replaced in the starting rotation by José Suárez and shifted to the bullpen on June 30 after going 1-7 with a 6.78 ERA in his first 14 starts.

On July 1, he joined José Quintana as the second long-term starter in the Angels’ rotation to be shifted to the bullpen during the season. The Minnesota Twins signed Bundy to a one-year deal on December 1, 2021, which included a club option for the following season in 2023.
