Dylan Floro, full name Dylan Lee Floro is known to be an American-born professional baseball player. He plays as a pitcher for the Miami Marlins baseball team. Dylan was born and raised on December 27, 1990, in Merced, California in USA.
He played baseball in high school at Buhach Colony High School in Atwater, California. After high school, he was drafted by the Tampa Bay Rays in the 20th round of the 2009 MLB draft but he did not sign and chose to play college baseball at California State University.
Whiles in college, he played collegiate summer baseball for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks of the Cape Cod Baseball League. When he graduated, he was again drafted by the Tampa Bay Rays in the 13th round of the 2012 MLB draft. He signed with them and made his professional debut that year with the Hudson Valley Renegades.
During the 2014 minor league season, he was assigned to pitch for the Double-A Montgomery Biscuits. In 2015, he spent the season playing for the Triple-A Durham Bulls. The Rays promoted him to the major leagues in July 2016 and he made his MLB debut on July 7 2016 for the team when they played against the Los Angeles Angels.
The Los Angeles Dodgers claimed him off waivers in August 2017 and in February 2021, the Miami Marlins purchased his contract.
