Eli Ankou is a professional defensive tackle for the National Football League’s Buffalo Bills football team from Canada. His height is 1.91 m. He was born on June 8, 1994, to Nicole Bellefeuille and Adolphe Ankou in Ottawa, Canada. He went to Red Lion Christian Academy and St. Peter Catholic High School, where he was a strong side defensive end player.
He got a football scholarship from UCLA and joined the UCLA Bruins football team to play in college. After the 2017 NFL Draft in May, the Houston Texans signed him as an undrafted free agent. On September 2, 2017, the Texans released him.
He was taken off waivers by the Jacksonville Jaguars in September 2017. In October 2019, the Cleveland Browns acquired him off the practice squad of the Jaguars. In September 2020, the Browns released him. He was picked up off waivers by the Indianapolis Colts in the same month.
He joined the Buffalo Bills in June 2021. He signed with the Atlanta Falcons on August 18, 2021, after being released on August 15, 2021. He joined the Pittsburgh Steelers’ practice squad in October 2021. He was added to the Tennessee Titans practice squad in October of that same year. He joined the Buffalo Bills practice squad in November 2021. He committed on February 7, 2022, to the Bills.
