Eli White is an American professional baseball utility player for the Texas Rangers of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2020.

With the Vermont Lake Monsters, White hit.275 with two home runs and 25 RBIs in 56 games for the Arizona League Athletics.

With four home runs and 36 RBIs in just over 100 games for Stockton’s Ports, he was the team’s leading hitter in 2017.

For the Midland RockHounds in 2018, he hit nine home runs, racked up 55 RBIs, and swiped 18 bases in 130 games, batting.306/.388/.450.

After the 2018 season, he was a member of the Mesa Solar Sox of the Arizona Fall League.

A three-team transaction that sent Jurickson Profar to Oakland and netted Texas a load of prospects saw the Texas Rangers acquire Eli White in December of 2018.

At the time, White had established himself as a standout prospect in the A’s farm system as a player who could routinely produce above average.

White had just finished a breakout season with Oakland’s Double-A affiliate Midland, where he had a.306 batting average and an.838 OPS in 130 games.

He entered the organization as the 12th-ranked prospect in the Rangers’ system, according to MLB Prospect Watch, and currently ranks 16th.
