Wolf attended the University of Tennessee (UT), where he played three seasons of college football with the Tennessee Volunteers.

This was in part attributable to the fact that throughout his three years at Tennessee, the Volunteers’ offense was led by a different offensive coordinator.
Wolf transferred to the University of Georgia in his senior year. Wolf recorded 13 receptions for 194 yards at Georgia, which was more than he did in three years at Tennessee
