Elijah Moore Contract, Salary and Net Worth

The Jets have been busy signing their draft picks to long-term deals ahead of the rookies’ arrival at training camp on Tuesday.

The New York Jets signed wide receiver Elijah Moore to a four-year, $8.9 million contract on Wednesday, securing his services after he graduated from Ole Miss. A signing bonus of $3.8 million will be paid out as part of the deal.

As a result of Moore’s extension, the New York Jets’ lone 2021 draft pick not yet signed is quarterback Zach Wilson. The Jets are optimistic about their second-round choice because he was widely expected to go much earlier.

Ole Miss produced NFL players DK Metcalf and AJ Brown, but it was Moore’s junior year when he really came into his own, smashing multiple school records in just eight games.

His season totals of 1,193 yards and eight scores led the team. One of his best games was a 238-yard performance against Vanderbilt.

New York’s offensive coordinators had high hopes for the 22-year-old after he had a solid minicamp and clicked with Wilson.

Having Moore under contract for the foreseeable future must be a relief for the team and their fans. From what we can tell so far, the 5-foot-10, 178-pounder is a once-in-a-generation talent.

Moore will need to fight for playing time in a deep wide receiver corps that features Jamison Crowder at the slot position, where Moore excels.
