When it comes to American baseball, Emmanuel Clase is one of the known names. He plays professional baseball for the Cleveland Indians baseball team. He is from the Dominican Republic and serves as a pitcher for the team. He is 1.88m tall.

Emmanuel had his amateur baseball career in the Dominican Republic where he was born. His pitching style is mainly an upper 90s/low 100s mph cut fastball and a low 90s slider.

He started professional baseball with the San Diego Padres after they signed him as an international free agent in February 2015. He was paid $125,000 as a signing bonus and he played for the DSL Padres that year. 



The following year, he played for the AZL Padres and he spent the 2017 season with both the AZL Padres and the Tri-City Dust Devils of the Class A Short Season Northwest League that same season.

In May 2018, the Padres traded him to the Texas Rangers. The Rangers assigned him to the Spokane Indians of the Class A Short Season Northwest League that year. In 2019, he played for the Down East Wood Ducks of the Class A-Advanced Carolina League.

He was later promoted during the season to the Frisco RoughRiders of the Double-A Texas League. Emmanuel made his MLB debut for the Indians on August 4 2019. In December 2019, the Rangers traded him to the Cleveland Indians.
