Eric Saubert engages in professional football as a tight end for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League. He was 1.96 m tall and weighed 115 kg. He played football when a student at Hoffman Estates High School. He attended Drake University after high school and played football for the Drake Bulldogs.
His consent to participate in the 2017 East-West Shrine Game was made public in December 2016. Atlanta Falcons selected Saubert with the 174th overall pick in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL Draft. In Week 1’s game against the New York Giants, he registered one catch for 7 yards as the third tight end on the active roster. In the week 12 victory over the Chargers, he caught his first touchdown pass ever. He renewed his contract with the Broncos in May 2022.
