The New York Giants of the National Football League use offensive tackle Evan Neal in the pros. His height is 2.01 m, and his weight is 159 kg. Before switching to IMG Academy, he first attended Okeechobee High School. One of the best players in the country at any position, he was regarded as a top offensive tackle prospect.
In addition to being one of the best players in the state of Florida, he was rated as a five-star offensive tackle by all of the major recruiting organizations. In the Under Armour All-America Game in 2019, he participated. After graduating from high school, he decided against offers from other colleges to play college football for the Alabama Crimson Tide at the University of Alabama.
During his first season in 2019, he started all 13 of his games at left guard before switching to right tackle the next year. He had 40 starts for the Alabama offensive line during his undergraduate career, including 13 at left guard in 2019, 12 at right tackle in 2020, and 15 at left tackle in 2021. He was a starter for the squad that captured the National Championship in the College Football Playoff in 2021.
For the 2021 season, he was chosen as one of Alabama’s permanent team captains. Following the 2021 season, he declared that he will forgo his senior year and enter the 2022 NFL Draft. The New York Giants selected Neal with the seventh overall pick in the draft.
