The New York Giants of the National Football League’s American Football play cornerback Fabian Moreau. He played running back and wide receiver when a student at Davie, Florida’s Western High School. He received offers to play college football from Boston College, Illinois, Northwestern, Vanderbilt, and Wake Forest, among others, but as a 3-star prospect straight out of high school, he chose UCLA.
In his time at UCLA, from 2012 to 2016, he shifted positions from running back to cornerback. He had three interceptions during his career and 149 tackles overall. He was anticipated to be selected in the late first or second round of the NFL draft when he came out of UCLA by the majority of draft experts and scouts.
He took part in the 2017 East-West Shrine Game in January 2017, and his strong performance helped the West win 10-3. He was also given a chance to participate in the Reese’s Senior Bowl, but he turned it down because he was “nicked up.” Moreau was chosen by the Washington Redskins in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft. He was taken in the draft as the 12th cornerback.
In the Washington Redskins’ season-opening 17-30 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, he played his first regular-season game in the industry. He agreed to a one-year deal with the Atlanta Falcons in March 2021. He joined the Houston Texans in May 2022. Moreau joined the New York Giants practice squad in September 2022 and was later added to the main roster in the same month.
