Fabian Moreau plays football professionally and is a cornerback for the New York Giants of the National Football League. He is 93 kg in weight and 1.83 meters tall. While attending Western High School, he participated in football as a running back and wide receiver. He signed with UCLA as a 3-star prospect right out of high school to play collegiate football for the UCLA Bruins.
He played cornerback there for the college football team from 2012 to 2016, converting from running back. He began in 2013, during his sophomore year. In addition to recording 149 tackles, three interceptions, and two placements on the athletic director’s honor roll while playing collegiate football, he also studied political science.
The Washington Redskins chose Moreau with the 81st overall pick in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft. He played in his first regular-season game as a professional in the Washington Redskins’ 17-30 season-opening defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles. He signed a one-year contract with the Atlanta Falcons in March 2021. In May 2022, he committed to playing with the Houston Texans.
In August, the Texans released him. On September 5, 2022, Moreau joined the New York Giants’ practice squad. He was promoted off the practice squad for the games in weeks two and three against the Carolina Panthers and Dallas Cowboys. The Giants added him to the active roster on September 28, 2022.
