Feleipe Franks is currently in his second season with the Atlanta Falcons of the NFL. The tight end was signed by the Falcons as an undrafted free agent when he failed to make the cut in the 2021 NFL draft.

Frank has always been an athlete from a young age. He started off as a baseball player in high school and was also on the football team. In Wakulla High School, Frank threw for 6,867 yards and 81 touchdowns throughout his high school football career.

Franks was rated as the fifth-highest ranked pro-style quarterback and the 54th-highest ranked prospect overall in the 247Sports Composite. All of the major recruiting services rated Franks as a four-star prospect.  



On June 1, 2014, he made his first pledge to play college football at Louisiana State University (LSU), but on November 29, 2015, he changed his commitment to the University of Florida.

After high school, Frank enrolled at the University of Florida and was part of the Florida Gators football from 2016-2019.

In 2016, Franks spent his first year at Florida in a non-playing capacity as a redshirt. After a competition with 2016 starter Luke Del Rio and incoming Notre Dame transfer Malik Zaire, the Gators decided to start him in the season opener against Michigan as a redshirt freshman in 2017.
