Francisco Alberto Pérez is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher who currently plays for the Washington Nationals of Major League Baseball.
He was born on July 20, 1997. (MLB). In 2021, he made his first appearance in Major League Baseball with the Cleveland Indians.
On December 12, 2014, Pérez became a member of the Indian organization after signing with them as an international free agent.
He played baseball professionally for the first time with the Dominican Summer League Indians during his rookie year. Pérez pitched for the Indians in the Arizona League in 2016 when he appeared in 12 games and recorded an earned run average of 2.69.
The year after that, Pérez pitched for the Low-A Mahoning Valley Scrappers and finished the year with a record of 4-4 and a 3.28 earned run average (ERA) in 15 starts for the squad.
He spent the 2018 season pitching for the Single-A Lake County Captains, where he had a record of 8-10, a 4.07 earned run average and 111 strikeouts in 26 games, and a total of 26 starts.
Pérez was only able to participate in a total of eight minor league games in 2019, as a result of his injury, and he did not appear in a single game in 2020, since the minor league season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 epidemic.
