Gardner Flint Minshew II is a quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League. He spent the first two years of his college football career at East Carolina before transferring to Washington State for his final year of eligibility.

During his time at Washington State, he received the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award and established a season record for passing yards in the Pac-12 Conference.

Minshew, who was drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the sixth round of the 2019 NFL Draft, started most of the games for the team in his first year and broke the record for most passing touchdowns by a rookie in the franchise’s history.

He was traded to the Eagles the following year after having his 2020 season cut short by injury, where he has since filled the team’s backup quarterback position.
