Garrett Stubbs Parents: Meet T. Pat and Marti Jo Stubbs

Garrett Stubbs

Garrett Patrick Stubbs graduated from Torrey Pines High School in 2011. (CA). In 2015, he won the Johnny Bench Award as the best catcher in NCAA Division I at the University of Southern California.

Garrett Stubbs was also selected Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year and earned All-Pac 12 accolades as a senior. HOU selected his brother, C.J., in the 10th round of the June 2019 draft.

Garrett With the Astros, he made his Major League debut, appearing in 11 games across three stints. He started six games (all at catcher) and played seven games in left field and one game in right field.

Garrett Stubbs started the season with Round Rock Triple A. On May 26, which also happened to be his 26th birthday, he was recalled to Houston for his first Major League assignment.

On June 20, he was optioned to Triple A. On August 2, Garrett Stubbs was recalled, and on August 7, he was optioned.

On Sept. 2, he was recalled for the final time. Garrett Stubbs made his Major League Baseball debut on May 28 against CHC, going 2 for 4 with a double and an RBI.

Meet T. Pat and Marti Jo Stubbs

T. Pat and Marti Jo Stubbs are the parents of Garrett Stubbs and C.J Stubbs who are all Baseball players. Much is not known about Marti Jo Stubbs but she was a supportive wife and mother.

T. Pat established a professional reputation while working with a client list that included the San Diego Toyota Dealers, the San Diego Zoo & Safari Park, and Nevada Hilton Properties, as well as several thoroughbred racing entities, including the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club, where he served as director of corporate development for 14 years.

He also volunteered with the San Diego Convention & Visitors Bureau, Magdalena Ecke YMCA, San Dieguito Boys’ & Girls’ Club, Del Mar Merchants Association, Del Mar Village Association, and the Del Mar Foundation, among other organizations.
