George Springer Siblings: Meet Lena Springer and Nicole Springer

George Chelston Springer III is an American professional baseball outfielder who currently plays for the Toronto Blue Jays. He was born on September 19, 1989, in the United States. Between the years 2014 and 2020, he was a member of the Houston Astros.

In 2017, Springer was recognized as a Major League Baseball All-Star, won the Silver Slugger Award, and won the World Series. Additionally, Springer was selected as the Most Valuable Player of the 2017 World Series (MVP).

In the 48th round of the 2008 Major League Baseball Draft, Springer was selected by the Minnesota Twins to join their organization. He came to the conclusion that he was not prepared to play professional baseball and so did not sign.

Springer was a member of the Connecticut Huskies baseball team throughout his time as a collegiate player. In 2011, he was honoured as the Player of the Year for the Big East Conference and was selected to the first team of All-Americans.

Meet Lena Springer

Lena Springer participated for Puerto Rico on the Junior National Softball Team in 2013, in addition to playing softball in college.

In 2017, she received a bachelor’s degree in criminology and criminal justice studies from Ohio State University. Her major was criminal justice studies.

Her previous employers include the Bo Jackson Elite Sports Facility in Hilliard, Ohio, and the CT Diamond Club in East Hartford, Connecticut, where she was employed as a softball hitting and pitching instructor for private clients.

Nicole Springer

Nicole, who recently graduated from Central Connecticut State University and is now coaching softball at Southern Connecticut State University, was a member of the Puerto Rico national softball team.

She also had four seasons in which she was named to the all-conference team during her collegiate career. Additionally, she is a mother, and her son Bryce, who plays Little League, has some very large shoes to fill
