Geron Christian, an offensive tackle, competes in the NFL for the Kansas City Chiefs. He weighs 137 kg and stands 1.96 m tall. He first attended West Port High School before transferring to Trinity Catholic High School, where he eventually graduated. He participated in collegiate football for the University of Louisville’s Louisville Cardinals team from 2015 to 2017, starting all 39 of his games.
After his junior year in 2017, he announced his intention to enter the 2018 NFL Draft. He made the decision to enter the draft even though it was anticipated that he wouldn’t be selected in the first or second round. He attended the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis but only took part in a select few additional activities, including 40-yard dash.
Christian was taken by the Washington Redskins with the 74th overall choice in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft. He was selected the starting left tackle for the 2020 season. Prior to sustaining a knee injury in Week 6 of the season, he started the first six games. Prior to being put on injured reserve on November 19, 2020, he missed the following three games.
On May 20, 2021, he was released from his contract, and on May 21, 2021, the Houston Texans claimed him off waivers. He committed to a one-year contract with the Kansas City Chiefs in March 2022.
