American football running back Gerrid Doaks plays for the National Football League’s Miami Dolphins. He stands 1.80 meters tall and weighs 103 kilograms. On June 9, 1998, he was born and reared in Indianapolis, Indiana, in the United States. At Lawrence Central High School, he participated in high school football. Later, he participated in collegiate football with the University of Cincinnati’s Cincinnati Bearcats football team.
From 2017 to 2020, he was a player at the University of Cincinnati. For the Bearcats’ 2020 season, he served as the starter. Over the course of the COVID-19 truncated nine-game season, he would gallop for 673 yards and catch 14 passes for a total of 202 yards. His senior year led to his being named to the first team of the AAC.
The Miami Dolphins selected Doaks with the 244th overall pick in the seventh round of the 2021 NFL Draft. On May 13, 2021, he executed a four-year rookie deal. He was released by the Dolphins on August 31, 2021, as part of the final roster cuts, and the following day re-signed with the practice squad. On January 14, 2022, he agreed to a reserve/future deal with the Dolphins.
