Garrett Richards is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Texas Rangers of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has previously played in MLB for the Los Angeles Angels, San Diego Padres, and Boston Red Sox.
Richards was called up to replace the suspended Jered Weaver in the rotation. After allowing six runs in five innings of work against the New York Yankees, Richards was tagged with the loss in his big league debut.
