Graham Gano Contract, Salary and Net Worth

Graham Gano

The New York Giants began their weekend quest to reclaim as much salary cap room as they could when they restructured kicker Graham Gano’s deal.

Gano signed a three-year, $14 million contract in the year 2020, which included a signing bonus of $3.25 million and had a total guaranteed value of $9.5 million. The amount of cap hit that Gano had in 2022 and 2023 was the same: $4,671,296.

According to reports, the Giants are currently under the salary cap (Top 51) by a difference of less than $400,000; however, the organization is apparently still carrying the contracts of James Bradberry and Saquon Barkley, two players the team would like to sell.

In the event that the Giants are successful in trading both players, they may be able to free up around $18 million in salary cap space; however, by that time, there may not be any high-priced free agents still available to sign with them.

Meanwhile, Gano is one of the few Giants players who has recently proven to be worth their salary. In 2021, he was successful on 29 of his 33 field goal tries and all 17 of his point-after attempts.
