Hagen Jarrell Danner is an American professional baseball pitcher who now plays for the Toronto Blue Jays. On Major League Baseball’s Top 30 Blue Jays prospects list for 2022, he is rated 17th.

Danner competed in the Little League World Series in 2011 with Ocean View Little League, a team from his hometown of Huntington Beach, California.

Ocean View won the Little League World Series Championship by a score of 2–1 over a team from Hamamatsu, Japan.

Danner blasted a game-tying solo home run in the championship game, batting.500 in the tournament. In 813 innings on the mound, he won two victories and struck out 17 batters.

Danner went on to play both catcher and pitcher at Huntington Beach High School.

He hit .350 with 12 home runs and 40 RBI in his senior season, and went 11–1 with a 1.22 ERA and 92 strikeouts in 6313 innings pitched on his way to being voted California’s high school player of the year by the Los Angeles Times and the Orange County Register.

He is committed to play baseball for the UCLA Bruins in college.

In the 2017 Major League Baseball draft, Danner was regarded as a top pitcher and catcher prospect. The Toronto Blue Jays took him 61st overall in the second round as a catcher.

Danner was assigned to the Gulf Coast League Blue Jays on June 28 after signing for a $1.5 million bonus on June 25. He hit.160 with two home runs and 20 RBI in 34 games.
