Hamsah Nasirildeen is a professional football player who lines up as a linebacker for the New York Jets of the National Football League. He is 98 kg and 1.91 meters tall. He was reared in Concord, North Carolina, where he also attended Concord High School and played wide receiver, tight end, safety, and linebacker for the football team.

In his final season, he broke up 65 passes, had 35 receptions for 634 yards in offense, 35 tackles, 5 interceptions, 2 forced fumbles, 65 passes, 7 passes, and 5 forced fumbles. He started off as a rookie defender. As a senior, he recorded 108 tackles, three interceptions, and 45 receptions for 751 yards and five touchdowns, earning him the distinction of US Army All-American.

He played football for Florida State University’s Seminoles. He took part in every one of Florida State’s 13 games as a true freshman, making 29 tackles and intercepting two passes. During his second season with the Seminoles, he took part in every game, starting at safety in five of them.

He had the most tackles on the team (91), an interception, and two pass breakups at the end of the season. Throughout his excellent junior season, he racked up 101 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, 1 sack, 3 forced fumbles, 1 fumble recovery, 3 interceptions, and 3 pass breakups. In the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft, the New York Jets selected him.
