Defensive end Henry Wyatt Anderson plays for the National Football League’s New England Patriots. On August 3, 1991, he was born in Atlanta, Georgia, in the United States. He was a student at College Park, Georgia’s Woodward Academy. He played football there for head coach Mark Miller and finished his career with 183 tackles and 20.5 sacks.



He received three South Fulton Neighbor All-South Metro selections, two All-4AAA Region selections, and was awarded first team All-state by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution in 2009. At Stanford University, he participated in collegiate football for the Stanford Cardinal football team.

From 2010 through 2014, Anderson was a student-athlete at Stanford. In the third round of the 2015 NFL Draft, the Indianapolis Colts selected him. With a laryngeal fracture, Anderson was put on injured reserve in November 2017. He was traded to the New York Jets in April 2018. He agreed to a three-year, $25.2 million contract deal with the Jets in March 2019, and the team dismissed him in March 2021.

He was assessed a $10,527 punishment by the league office in September 2019 for his late hit on another player. He was released by the Jets in March 2021. He agreed to a two-year deal with the New England Patriots in the same month.
