Henry Anderson Parents: Meet Eric Anderson and Ellen Anderson

In the National Football League, Henry Wyatt Anderson represents the New England Patriots as a defensive end. He was made in the United States, in Atlanta, Georgia, on August 3, 1991. His school of choice was Woodward Academy in College Park, Georgia. He played football there under head coach Mark Miller, recording 183 tackles and 20.5 sacks over the course of his career.

In 2009, he earned first team All-state recognition, three South Fulton Neighbor All-South Metro picks, and two All-4AAA Region selections, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. He played collegiate football at Stanford University for the Stanford Cardinal football team.

Anderson played football at Stanford from 2010 to 2014. He was chosen by the Indianapolis Colts in the third round of the 2015 NFL Draft. In November 2017, Anderson was put on injured reserve because of a laryngeal fracture. In April 2018, he was dealt to the New York Jets. After signing a three-year, $25.2 million contract with the Jets in March 2019, he was cut go from the team in March 2021.

In September 2019 the league administration fined him $10,527 for his late hit on another player. In March 2021, the Jets released him. In the same month, he signed a two-year contract with the New England Patriots.
