Hoby Milner is known to be a professional baseball player who plays for the Milwaukee Brewers baseball team. He was born to Yvonne Milner and former Blue Jays catcher Brian Milner on January 13, 1991, in Fort Worth, Texas in the USA. He attended R. L. Paschal High School in Fort Worth, Texas where he played non professionally for the school team.
When Hoby completed high school in 2007, he enrolled at the University of Texas at Austin where he played college baseball for the school’s baseball team. He was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 7th round of the 2012 MLB draft. He signed with the Phillies to begin his professional career.
For a start, he was assigned to play with the Low-A Williamsport Crosscutters, and also the Single-A Lakewood Blue Claws. The 2013 minor league season was spent with the High-A Clearwater Threshers and he spent the 2014 season with the Double-A with the Reading Fightin Phils.
The Cleveland Indians selected him in the 2016 Rule 5 draft but returned him to the Phillies in March 2017. The Phillies promoted him to the majors in June 2017. He made his MLB debut on June 24 that same season when they played against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
He was traded in 2018 to the Tampa Bay Rays and in December 2020, he signed a minor league contract with the Milwaukee Brewers. The Brewers selected him to their active roster in May 2021.
