Jace Ryan Peterson is a professional baseball second baseman from America who plays for the Milwaukee Brewers of Major League Baseball. Hailing from Lake Charles, Louisiana, he was born on May 9, 1990. He has previously played for the San Diego Padres, Atlanta Braves, New York Yankees, and the Baltimore Orioles.

His early years show that he was a three-sport athlete who participated in many sporting events. Football, basketball, and baseball were the sports. He completed his undergraduate studies at McNeese State University, where he was a well-known baseball player for the McBee State Cowboys. He managed to accumulate 78 stolen bases. He was selected by the San Diego Padres with the 58th overall pick in the first round of the 2011 draft.
