Corbin Brian Burnes is a professional baseball pitcher from America who pitches for the Milwaukee Brewers of Major League Baseball. Corbin was born on October 22, 1994. He was born in Bakersfield, California in the United States. He made his first appearance in Major League Baseball in the year 2018 and was known to win the National League Cy Young Award in the year 2021.

Corbin Burnes was known to attend Centennial High School in Bakersfield, California in his early years. He played college baseball at Saint Mary’s College of California after completing his high school studies. He was a collegiate summer baseball player for the Orleans Firebirds of the Cape Cod Baseball League in 2015.

Corbin began his professional baseball career with the Arizona League Brewers before being promoted to the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers. He was selected as the minor league pitcher of the year by the Brewers after that particular season in the 2017 timeframe.



In his first four starts of the year 2021, Burnes struck out 40 batters without issuing a walk. With 58 strikeouts before issuing a walk on May 13, he set a new record for the most strikeouts to start a season. To avoid salary arbitration, he inked a $6.5 million contract with the Brewers.
