How Fast Is Singletary?

Singletary’s first touchdown of the year came in week 2 against the Miami Dolphins on a 46-yard rush during which, according to NFL NextGen Stats, he hit a high speed of 20.29 mph.

His touchdown marked Buffalo’s opening score of the contest, which the Bills went on to win 35-0. Before being elevated to the position of starting halfback, Singletary shared the backfield with Moss and newly signed free agent Matt Breida for the first three months of the season, with only mediocre performance due to an offensive line that struggled to block runs.

In games against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Carolina Panthers, New England Patriots, Atlanta Falcons, and New York Jets in weeks 14 and 18, he gained at least 78 yards from scrimmage.

Against Atlanta, Singletary carried the ball 23 times for 110 yards and two touchdowns, both career highs for a single game. Again, he beat the Jets with two touchdowns, one rushing, and one catch.
