How Good Is Chuck Clark?

Charles Edward Clark Jr. was born on April 19, 1995. For the National Football League’s Baltimore Ravens, he is a strong safety. He’s now sporting the 36 for the group.

In the sixth round of the 2017 NFL Draft, the Ravens selected Clark. Clark attended Suffolk, Virginia’s King’s Fork High School.

He participated in basketball, track, and American football. According to ESPN, he was ranked as the No. 68 safety in the country, No. 145 in his region, and No. 34 in the state at his position.

Clark attended the NFL Scouting Combine and was categorized as a cornerback.
On March 15, 2017, Clark chose to participate in the 40-yard dash (4.56 seconds), 20-yard dash (2.65 seconds), 10-yard dash (1.59 seconds), and vertical leap (33 1/2 inches) events at Virginia Tech’s Pro Day.

Unfortunately, Clark’s performance fell short of his total performance. Scouts and draft experts for the NFL expected that Clark would either be picked in the sixth to seventh round or go undrafted during the pre-draft process.

According to DraftScout.com, he was the 11th-best free safety prospect available for the draft.

On February 10, 2020, Clark agreed to a three-year, $15.30 million contract agreement with the Baltimore Ravens, which includes a $10 million guaranteed bonus and a $5.50 million signing bonus.

Chuck Clark has been a reliable starter for Baltimore for a number of seasons; in 16 games last year, he finished with 80 tackles, two interceptions, and a sack (all starts).

Clark has started each of his 32 games over the last two seasons, but if he stays in Baltimore, that run may end.
