The National Football League’s Buffalo Bills have tight end Dawson Knox on their roster. He was born in Brentwood, Tennessee, in the United States, on November 14, 1996. He went to St. Paul Christian Academy and Brentwood Academy in Brentwood, Tennessee, where he played quarterback and wide receiver on the varsity football team.

He played NCAA football for the Ole Miss Rebels at the University of Mississippi from 2015 to 2018 after completing high school. He hauled in 39 receptions for 605 yards while a student. He made the decision to forego his senior year in 2018 and pursue the 2019 NFL Draft instead.

With the 96th overall choice in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft, the Buffalo Bills picked Knox. On June 14, 2019, Knox agreed to a one-year contract with the company. In September 2019, Knox had three receptions for 67 yards and a touchdown.

He caught 28 of 50 targets for 388 yards and two touchdowns in a hit-and-miss rookie season. After testing positive for the COVID-19 virus in October 2020, he was put on the reserve/COVID-19 list. In November of that year, he enlisted. In 2021, he started to contribute more to the Bills’ passing offense.
