Oscar Gonzalez who pitches for the Cleveland Guardians of Major League Baseball was known to have commenced his professional career as an international free agent when he signed with the Cleveland Indians on July 2, 2014 worth a signing bonus amount of $300,000. He was known to have played for the DSL Indians in the year 2025 hitting 4 home runs and 38 runs batted in.

 

In the year 2016, he split the year between the AZL Indians and the Mahoning Valley Scrappers where he hit 8 home runs and 26 Batts. He earned the name as the 2016 Arizona League Most Valuable Player. He spent the year 2017 with the Mahoning Valley for that particular season.

In the year 2018, he was with the Lake County Captains where he recorded 13 home runs and 52 runs batted. He split the year 2019 season between the Lynchburg Hillcats and the Akron RubberDucks. However, he was known to have not played a minor league in the year 2020 as a result of the COVID-19. He became a free agent at the time.
