How Good Is Travon Fuller?

Travon Fuller

Travon Fuller spent his first four college seasons at Texas A&M, although in a supporting role. He played in 16 games and finished his career having made 20 total tackles and breaking up one pass. Before the start of the 2021 season, he transferred to Tulsa, where he had the opportunity to see the most playing time of his career and make the most of it.

At the end of the season, Fuller would finish with a total of 42 tackles, three interceptions, and nine breakups of passes.

How Good Is Travon Fuller?

Travon Fuller reportedly had a number of organizations vying for his services, but he ultimately chose to sign with the Buffalo Bills. One possible explanation for this is that Fuller is expected to compete with other rookies for a spot on the 53-man roster.

The top five positions on the depth chart appear to be taken by Tre’Davious White, first-round draft pick Kaiir Elam, Dane Jackson, Taron Johnson, and Siran Neal, so this won’t be a simple task by any stretch of the imagination. But if the Bills decide to keep six defensive backs, Cam Lewis, Olaijah Griffin, Nick McCloud, Christian Benford, and Fuller are all in the running for this last spot.

Travon Fuller is likely to be one of the players considered for the Buffalo Bills’ final cornerback roster position, which is expected to be one of the more contentious battles that will take place at training camp this year.
