In 2021, Pierce made a comeback as the starting defensive tackle. He started the first four contests before going down with an elbow injury in the fourth week. Before being placed on injured reserve on November 13, 2021, he missed the following four games. He becomes operational on December 4, 2021.

On March 15, 2022, Pierce was released. On March 17, 2022, Pierce agreed to a three-year, $16.5 million deal with the Baltimore Ravens.
