The Cleveland Guardian selected Tyler Freeman in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft for a pick price of $816,500. He gained his high school education at the Rancho Cucamonga, California’s Etiwanda High School.
He has now proven his bat-to-ball abilities while rapidly rising through the minor-league structure of the squad.

In 2019, Freeman was able to pitch for both Low-A Lake County and High-A Lynchburg, demonstrating his continued ability to command the strike zone and put the bat on the ball.
