Breece Hall, a running back with the National Football League’s New York Jets, was born on May 31, 2001. He played college football for Iowa State, where he won the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year and was a two-time All-American.

In the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft, the Jets selected Hall. Hall took over as Iowa State’s starting running back during his true freshman year after David Montgomery left for the NFL.

After rushing for 132 yards and three touchdowns in a 38-14 victory over West Virginia, he was named the co-Newcomer of the Week.



The next week, Hall was named the Newcomer of the Week again after rushing for 183 yards and two touchdowns and receiving three catches for 73 yards.

He was selected second-team All-Big 12 after finishing the campaign with 897 yards on the ground and nine touchdowns while also collecting 23 catches for 252 yards and one score.

He is a strong three-down back who finished his career at Iowa State with 3,044 yards and 41 touchdowns on 532 attempts.

Hall is skilled in the passing game; he caught 93 receptions over the course of three FBS seasons. To close out his career, he also set an NCAA record by rushing for a touchdown in 24 straight games.
