How many Super Bowls have the Arizona Cardinals won?

Arizona Cardinals

The Phoenix metro region is home to the Arizona Cardinals, a professional American football team. The Cardinals play their home games at State Farm Stadium in the northwest suburb of Glendale, where they participate in the National Football League as a member of the National Football Conference West division.

The team was founded in 1898 as the Morgan Athletic Club, an amateur football team in Chicago. On September 17, 1920, the team became a founding member of the NFL. Along with the Chicago Bears, the Cardinals are the only NFL charter member franchises still in existence since the league’s formation and the nation’s first continually run professional football team.

Although the team’s corporate headquarters and training facility are still located in Tempe, they moved to their new home field in Glendale in 2006. The Cardinals’ yearly training camp in the summer was held at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff from 1988 through 2012. In 2013, the Cardinals changed the location of their training camp from State Farm Stadium to University of Phoenix Stadium.

They have advanced to the playoffs eleven times, winning seven of those games, three of which came during their run in the NFL playoffs in 2008–2009. They reached Super Bowl XLIII in 2009 and won their lone NFC Championship Game since the 1970 AFL-NFL merger during that season.
