Hunter Long is a tight end player for the Miami Dolphins football team of the National Football League. He celebrates his birthday on August 19, 1998. After graduating from Exeter High School, he spent a year at Deerfield Academy in Deerfield, Massachusetts, where he played football as a student.
He played tight end and defensive end in high school. As a senior, he hauled in 30 catches for 508 yards, two scores, and seven sacks. He later played collegiate football for the Boston College Eagles while a student at Boston College. He redshirted his freshman year at Boston College in 2017. In the twelve games he played in 2018, he had four receptions for 103 yards and two touchdowns.
In 2019, he caught 28 catches for 509 yards and two scores. He returned in 2020 and started at tight end. In the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft, he was selected by the Miami Dolphins with the 81st overall pick. He made a four-year rookie agreement commitment to Miami on July 26, 2021.
