American outfielder Dustin Hunter Renfroe plays for the Milwaukee Brewers of Major League Baseball. He had previously played for the Boston Red Sox, Tampa Bay Rays, and San Diego Padres.

Renfroe played college baseball for the Mississippi State Bulldogs after receiving a scholarship to Mississippi State University.

Todd and Tammy Renfroe are the parents of Hunter Renfroe, who was born and raised in Crystal Springs, Mississippi. He participated in baseball for the school’s baseball team while attending Copiah Academy in Gallman, Mississippi.

In the 31st round of the 2010 Major League Baseball (MLB) draft, the Boston Red Sox selected Renfroe, but he declined to sign.

His college baseball career began at Mississippi State University, when he competed for the Mississippi State Bulldogs.

On April 15, 2013, he was named the Southeastern Conference Player of the Week.

Additionally, he was added to the list of candidates for the Golden Spikes Award, and in 2013 he won the C Spire Ferriss Trophy, which is given to the Mississippi college baseball player of the year.

Renfroe participated in the Cal Ripken Collegiate Baseball League from 2011 to 2012 with the Bethesda Big Train.

In 2012, he set Big Train records for runs, home runs, runs batted in, slugging percentage, and total bases in a season. The Big Train retired Renfroe’s number “11” in 2012.
