Hunter Drew Strickland is one of the professional baseball players currently with the Cincinnati Reds baseball team. Hunter plays as a pitcher for the Reds and is 1.91 m tall with a weight of 102 kg.

Hunter was born and raised in Thomaston, Georgia in the United States on September 24, 1988. In 2007, during the MLB draft, he was drafted by the Boston Red Sox in the 18th round the draft. He signed with them and made his professional debut with the GCL Red Sox that year.

The Giants called him up to the majors for the first time on September 1, 2014. He made his MLB debut that same day for the Giants. Hunter signed a one-year deal with the Seattle Mariners in January 2019 and in July that same year, the Mariners traded him to the Washington Nationals.

Hunter signed a minor league contract with the New York Mets in June 2020 and he signed a minor league contract with the Tampa Bay Rays in February 2021.

The Rays traded his contract to the Los Angeles Angels in May 2021. In June that year, he was traded again to the Milwaukee Brewers. Finally, in March 2022, the Cincinnati Reds signed him on a one-year contract.
