Ike Boettger Parents: Meet Kris Boettger and Tim Boettger

Isaac “Ike” Boettger is a guard for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League. He is 1.98 m tall and weighs 142 kg. While attending Cedar Falls High School in Cedar Falls, Iowa, he participated in high school football. He played collegiate football for the Iowa Hawkeyes team at the University of Iowa. He signed on with the Buffalo Bills as an undrafted free agent in May 2018.



He was freed on September 1, 2018, to date. On September 2, 2018, the Kansas City Chiefs claimed him off waivers. He was released on September 11th, 2018. On September 12, 2018, the Kansas City Chiefs claimed him off waivers. He played his first NFL game against the Miami Dolphins on December 2, 2018. The Bills extended him a restricted free agent tender on March 17, 2021.

He signed a one-year deal with the Bills in April 2021. The first two weeks of training camp in 2021 were delayed as a result of his contracting COVID-19 and missing the most of those two weeks. He was initially chosen as a backup guard for the season before being promoted to the starting left guard in Week 8. He suffered an Achilles tear in Week 16 and was put on injured reserve on December 27. In March 2022, the Bills re-signed Boettger to a one-year contract.
